ABOUT ME
For me, design has never been just about objects, visuals, or trends—it has always been about storytelling. Every line, every texture, every detail is an opportunity to create an emotional dialogue between people and the world around them. I see design as a bridge: between function and beauty, between culture and innovation, between imagination and reality.
As both an industrial designer and a graphic designer, my career has been shaped by a deep curiosity and a passion for experimentation. Over the years, I have been fortunate to receive international recognition and awards for projects that span across multiple disciplines: from commercial and residential furniture that redefines how spaces are experienced, to packaging and branding in the food and beverage industry that tells the story of culture through form and color. These projects are not just professional milestones; they are reminders of my belief that design has the power to inspire, connect, and transform.
My creative process is nurtured by the things I love: nature, gastronomy, and music. Nature teaches me about proportion, resilience, and harmony. Gastronomy reveals the beauty of rituals, flavors, and the design hidden in the simplest act of sharing a meal. Music, on the other hand, gives rhythm and emotion to my work, reminding me that design, much like a song, should awaken the senses and leave a lasting impression.
I am deeply fascinated by materials and processes. I believe that innovation is born when traditional craftsmanship meets cutting-edge technology, when raw matter is transformed into something that not only functions but also tells a story. Whether it’s exploring the potential of new materials, experimenting with manufacturing techniques, or pushing the boundaries of CNC and digital fabrication, I see each challenge as an invitation to rethink what design can be.
At the heart of my practice lies a commitment to giving design an authentic cultural identity. As a proud contributor to Mexican design, I see every project as an opportunity to highlight the richness, diversity, and creativity of my culture. Mexican design, in my view, is not just a style—it is a way of seeing the world, one that blends tradition and modernity, craft and technology, roots and innovation.
Ultimately, my goal is simple yet ambitious: to create designs that are more than objects or visuals. I want them to be experiences—moments that invite people to pause, feel, and connect. Whether it is a chair, a piece of packaging, or a brand identity, each design carries within it the same essence: a story told with honesty, emotion, and purpose.
